📋 Description

• Lead bi-weekly payroll processing submissions to Paylocity • Maintain employee records, including new hires, terminations, salary adjustments, and tax elections • Review timesheets and resolve discrepancies with managers • Serve as the primary contact for employee questions about paystubs, taxes, and timesheets • Maintain confidentiality of payroll and employee information • Review payroll tax filings and make state tax registrations • Maintain state payroll tax accounts, filings, payments, and agency correspondence across applicable jurisdictions • Complete payroll-related submissions, including 401(k) contributions and HSA submissions • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations • Archive payroll, payroll tax, and benefit records • Support employee onboarding and offboarding activities in HR systems • Administer benefit programs, use carrier websites, and reconcile payroll and benefit vendor invoices • Administer Concur expense reports and coordinate reimbursement through payroll • Forecast future payroll cash requirements • Support monthly accounting close and reporting, including vacation accrual and payroll liabilities • Lead year-end payroll activities, including W-2 preparation • Complete special accounting and HR projects as needed

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work • Minimum of 5 years of experience in submitting and accounting for small company payroll and working with payroll taxes • Exceptional attention to detail and willingness to support Innovu’s growth and Finance Team’s priorities • Outstanding Excel and spreadsheet skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP/HLOOKUP formulas • Strong customer service skills • Demonstrated aptitude for learning new software applications • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently under general direction • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
