• Serve as the primary vehicle acquisition and upfitting expert on the Procurement team • Provide fleet management support that optimizes vehicle procurement, upfit design, and delivery operations • Manage the full vehicle lifecycle from OEM ordering and factory coordination through upfit specification and vendor management • Lead collaboration with upfit vendors and internal departments on vehicle customization and equipment installation • Manage upfit quotes and purchase orders, timelines, inspections, quality assurance, troubleshooting, remediation, and warranty claims • Coordinate OEM vehicle orders, specifications, delivery schedules, modifications, purchase orders, defects, delays, warranty issues, and expediting • Lead out-of-stock inventory procurement and supplier relationships • Direct vehicle delivery logistics, shipment tracking, carrier coordination, delivery schedules, transportation cost management, and logistics issue resolution • Maintain fleet data across procurement, upfit, and delivery systems • Analyze fleet data and develop SOPs, process documentation, reports, and dashboards • Support continuous improvement initiatives and identify cost and process improvements • Collaborate with the Sr Director of Vehicle Procurement and cross-functional internal and external partners
• 5–7 years of experience in fleet operations and upfitting, ideally within an FMC or upfitting environment • Deep expertise in upfit specifications and procurement methods • Strong working knowledge of upfit facilities and vendor capabilities • Experience in fleet management, upfitting, automotive, transportation, leasing, or vehicle rental industries preferred • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Experience collaborating across internal teams and external partners • Ability to synthesize data into clear memos, emails, and reports • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining attention to detail • Exceptionally strong Excel and PowerPoint skills • Ability to build clean reporting and present data clearly • Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, or a related field preferred • Alignment with and demonstrated application of the company’s core values
