📋 Description

• Manage day-to-day relationships with provider network accounts across Washington and Oregon • Conduct provider relationship management activities, including contracting, education, training, and customer service • Execute network development strategies • Serve as a business-facing ambassador for IHCS within the healthcare provider market • Advance IHCS’s organizational interests in the healthcare provider market • Position IHCS as the preferred partner for value-based home care services • Travel as required

🎯 Requirements

• Must reside in WA/OR • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree plus two (2) years of work experience with a plan payer, in health care, or a related field with Provider Development and/or Provider Relations • Four (4) years of experience will be considered in lieu of a Bachelor’s Degree • Knowledge and understanding of managed care concepts • Knowledge and mastery of basic negotiating skills and contract language • Strong attention to detail with the ability to multi-task and prioritize • Excellent organizational and time management skills • Accountability and dependability • Effective interpersonal skills characterized by articulateness, diplomacy, and the ability to persuade and motivate others • Effective verbal and written communication • Attentive and empathetic listening • Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate effectively with others • Self-motivated with a sense of urgency and commitment to organizational priorities • Experience working with managed care concepts • Prior contracting experience from a health plan or provider
