• Prepare and review documents and acquisition packages for easement program enrollments and acquisitions. • Review land ownership documents and title commitments. • Provide title review reports and summaries of real property records search and the real property records and title commitments. • Identify and document each title exception as either acceptable or required to be removed or subordinated. • Prepare and/or review packages of title evidence. • Search real property records online and in person to locate property interests encumbering existing or potential easements.
• Minimum of five (5) years of title processing required. • Experience with a Government agency a plus. • Extensive experience reviewing title searches, reports, and summaries. • Extensive experience with title exceptions, curing title defects, etc. • Extensive experience with commitments. • Extensive experience preparing and reviewing title packages. • Experience searching real property records to locate property encumbrances. • Experience with Easements. • Excellent knowledge of real property acquisition required. • Strong attention to detail. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. • Working knowledge of Adobe Acrobat. • Ability to work as a team player in a professional environment. • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
