📋 Description

• Serve as Tech Lead for one of three CareHub pods, reporting to the Head of Applications/R&D • Provide technical leadership to an engineering pod of approximately five individual contributors • Write code, lead design reviews, collaborate with and coach engineers, and review pull requests • Work with other tech leads and the Head of Applications on the technical roadmap • Implement technical standards and best practices • Prioritize technical debt as part of the technical roadmap • Collaborate with Product Management and UX Design to break down user stories into technical tickets • Work iteratively with design and product to ensure feature specifications are technically feasible and high quality before development • Work with Customer Support and Product to understand customer feedback and bugs and respond appropriately • Manage and technically coach pod members • Spend approximately 50% of the week on individual contributor development and engineering collaboration • Spend approximately 25% on architecture design, story breakdown, and design collaboration • Spend approximately 10% working with Customer Support to triage and understand bugs • Spend approximately 15% managing and coaching junior engineers

🎯 Requirements

• Strong experience as an individual contributor Senior Software Engineer/Tech Lead in full-stack web applications using TypeScript/React • Strong technical abilities and product mindset • High attention to detail and strong intuition for risky code • Ability to consider edge cases involving sensitive healthcare data and data access boundaries • Previous experience as a tech lead or technical team lead is a plus • Experience scaling a web application or working on large-scale production systems • Experience with MongoDB/NoSQL is a plus • Healthcare experience or experience in another high-security industry is a plus • Must be based in the United States • Position is not eligible for sponsorship
