• Build and manage long-term relationships with physicians and other customers in assigned accounts and territory • Provide access support and education while delivering approved promotional messages for Donidalorsen • Educate physicians, nurses, billing managers, office staff, and other HAE community customers on Donidalorsen, HAE, clinical information, approved indication, and appropriate use once FDA approved • Support healthcare provider offices with compliant access support • Build, maintain, and leverage local healthcare networks and relationships • Develop and execute business plans aligned with customer and Ionis goals • Educate HCPs and office staff using approved marketing materials and messaging • Explain the Donidalorsen access process, including payer coverage policies and common challenges • Use tokenized patient hub CRM data to provide patient access status updates • Raise HAE disease-state awareness and educate on patient needs • Educate customers on Ionis patient services and encourage appropriate utilization • Participate in conferences, congresses, and scientific meetings • Gather market and account insights for field leadership and marketing • Understand local market dynamics and barriers affecting HAE patients and accounts • Identify and document potential HCPs treating HAE patients • Develop and execute strategic territory account plans • Build insight-driven tactics and adjust strategies to meet territory business goals • Create launch-day engagement plans and schedule post-launch customer meetings before launch • Participate in field meetings and training programs • Maintain knowledge of payer policies and certify on approved label and compliance training • Follow Ionis mission, policies, procedures, Code of Ethics, and Business Conduct • Collaborate compliantly with Account Specialists and field teams • Share customer engagement learnings with field members and leadership • Use platforms and technology to engage customers through multiple channels • Partner on accounts involving patients seen by multiple specialties and geographies
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and driving record in compliance with company standards • Bachelor's Degree with at least 12 years of related experience • Master's and/or advanced degrees (e.g., MBA, PhD, PharmD) preferred with at least 8 years of related experience • At least 4+ years of experience in Pharma sales or Field Reimbursement and/or access roles • Experience with rare diseases and product launches • HCP and IDN engagement experience • Cross-functional field team coordination • Successful launch experience • Customer reimbursement and drug access education and support experience • Extensive comprehension of the healthcare ecosystem, including market access landscape and payer reimbursement policies for rare disease products • Analytical skills to build product knowledge competency in pharmaceuticals, competitor products, and relevant disease states • Self-driven with ability to solve customer challenges with integrity and compliance • Excellent communication and presentation skills • Proven track record of consistently and compliantly meeting or exceeding financial and/or other quantitative and qualitative targets • Solid understanding of and adherence to external laws, codes, and company policies applying to the healthcare industry and interactions with healthcare professionals
