📋 Description

• Manage client relationships and support new and ongoing client relationships • Deliver projects according to operational excellence standards: on budget, on time, error-free, on strategy, and within relevant policies and guidelines • Lead account teams and ensure team success and development • Establish professional relationships with client stakeholders and understand their roles, preferences, motivations, and desired outcomes • Represent and promote Simpson’s brand in client interactions, communications, and deliverables • Partner with clients to develop strategies and attain desired outcomes • Attend and ensure success of client meetings, status calls, brand planning meetings, workshops, advisory boards, speaker trainings, and congresses • Manage projects for assigned clients and coordinate internal teams and third-party vendors • Monitor project progress and manage changes to deliverables, timing, and project goals • Communicate scope changes through internal processes • Prepare, update, and review monthly phasing reports and communicate with Finance • Adhere to and enforce SOPs and project management processes including PIT Crew, Basecamp, CCR, Good to Go, and weekly client updates • Maintain knowledge of managed products, disease areas, and brand and company strategies • Prepare and deliver client pitches, presentations, and metrics with Leadership and Marketing • Ensure delivery of scoped work and address at-risk or canceled projects • Supervise, train, mentor, and provide feedback to staff • Conduct weekly one-on-one meetings and support performance reviews and improvement plans • Assign projects based on staff experience, growth, and bandwidth • Identify needed systems, tools, processes, and team resources • Coordinate with Leadership, departments, and cross-functional teams • Lead or oversee SOWs, budgets, approvals, addenda, terminations, pipeline reports, and PO acquisition • Approve and prepare staff timesheets • Manage and attend relevant internal meetings and perform other assigned duties

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years experience in medical communications, healthcare marketing, or scientific agency • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably with emphasis in Marketing, Business, or Science • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Proven ability to establish and nurture client, internal, and staff relationships • Previous experience with people management is preferred • Strong attention to detail • Ability to manage multiple priorities • Strong organization and time management skills • Ability to leverage internal and external relationships to benefit projects, clients, and the company • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word • Experience with Basecamp or similar project management systems is preferred • Extensive skills with Zoom, Microsoft Teams, WebEx, and other web-conferencing tools • Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of audiences • Team-oriented, proactive, and willing to take initiative • Curiosity and aptitude for continuous thinking, learning, and collaboration • Ability to travel to meet stakeholders as necessary, up to 25% of time • Must reside within the country where the role is posted to be eligible for the remote job opportunity
