📋 Description

• Own and administer the project BIM Execution Plan, including coordination schedules, model exchange cadence, federation structure, and sign-off gates. • Manage the federated project model in Navisworks, including versioning and publishing coordinated baselines. • Chair coordination meetings and track clash and issue resolution through closure. • Run interdisciplinary clash detection across mechanical, electrical, and CSA models. • Validate resolved clashes and maintain clash-trending metrics. • Plan and execute LIDAR scans, register point clouds, and verify installed work against coordinated design. • Detect deviations, out-of-tolerance installations, and downstream conflicts using as-built conditions. • Maintain scan-to-model workflows for accurate as-built models suitable for commissioning and operations handover. • Facilitate digital layout using robotic total stations for structural and installation elements. • Prepare and quality-check model-derived layout points and field packages. • Support trade crews in adopting model-based layout. • Coordinate daily with design teams, trade contractors, and the internal VDC team. • Onboard project partners to IREN’s VDC requirements and resolve modeling and data-exchange issues. • Feed project lessons learned back to the corporate VDC team and discipline BIM Specialists.

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 8+ years of experience in BIM/VDC coordination on construction projects • Datacenter, mission-critical, or heavy industrial experience strongly preferred • Site-based coordination experience essential • Expert proficiency with Navisworks for federation and clash management • Strong working proficiency with Revit • Experience with BIM 360/ACC, Navisworks, or Revizto strongly preferred • Hands-on reality-capture experience, including planning LIDAR scans, registering point clouds, and integrating them into coordination workflows using ReCap, Cyclone, or equivalent • Working knowledge of digital layout workflows and robotic total stations, such as Trimble, Leica, or Topcon • Ability to prepare model-derived layout data for field use • Strong understanding of construction sequencing and multi-trade installation practices • Field presence and communication skills to run coordination meetings and constructively hold trade partners accountable • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience • Willingness to travel between project sites as required • Authorization to work in the United States, verified through E-Verify and Form I-9
