📋 Description

• Serve as subject matter expert in manufacturing processes from raw materials to finished goods and cost of sales • Perform monthly analytics on cost of sales, absorption, PPV, and other metrics to ensure accurate standards and gross margins • Maintain product cost data integrity and accuracy; assist with month-end close activities • Analyze cost accounting data and provide insights for business decisions • Lead a matrixed team of accountants in a global organization; delegate projects, documentation, ad hoc analysis, and review and approve month-end close journal entries • Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, procedures, and regulatory requirements • Establish inventory policies and processes and improve inventory management practices • Assist with manufacturing bill of materials, routings, and purchased-parts material master setup • Identify implementation tasks and deliverables and assist with their coordination and execution • Establish KPIs, timelines, and communication cadence with Cost Accounting and Operations FP&A teams • Coordinate and create training for finance, accounting, manufacturing, and procurement teams • Lead annual standards setting, cost rollups, and standard cost updates in the ERP system for the Annual Operating Plan • Maintain material updates through MasterControl requests and QAD/ERP system updates • Assist FP&A with product-cost information and forecasting models • Support audits and ad hoc cost accounting requests • Support ERP implementation through data conversion, cleansing, testing, policy and procedure assessment, and workflow creation

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field • 8+ years of accounting or finance experience • 5+ years of cost accounting experience preferred • Advanced knowledge of Excel, including Pivot Tables, V-Lookup, data merges, and filters • Experience in a Sarbanes-Oxley-compliant environment • Strong understanding and proficiency in U.S. GAAP • Willingness to work flexible or extended hours during month-end close to support an international team based in the Philippines • Experience working with tight deadlines and responsibility for accuracy and timeliness • Experience managing and leading a team • High attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and ability to work on multiple projects • Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to work with limited supervision • Knowledge of multinational ERP is required; SAP and/or QAD is a plus • Previous experience in ERP implementations or related project management • Experience in a fast-paced, team-oriented, matrixed organization • Excellent interpersonal skills • Strategic thinking with emphasis on relationship management and communication at all organizational levels
