📋 Description

• Collaborate with product management, engineering, quality, and regulatory assurance to define project scope for unmet clinical needs and launch new products • Drive project planning, work breakdown structures, estimation, resources, scheduling, timelines, contingencies, risks, and re-planning • Create and maintain technical project release plans for the design control process • Own project plan initiation through post-implementation • Execute and launch projects through cross-functional collaboration with CRM, Manufacturing, Marketing, Customer Support, and Clinical Operations • Act as scrum master for sprint planning, backlog refinement, stand-ups, and retrospectives • Lead recurring project meetings to track progress, timelines, project health, and risks • Facilitate technical discussions among engineers and cross-functional teams • Coordinate business readiness for deployment and product launch as a core team leader • Own the project risk register and lead risk management discussions • Author project documentation and assist with system testing when necessary • Work with QA/RA to ensure compliance with company SOPs and international regulatory standards • Own project health and drive continuous process improvement with the technical project management team • Drive team best practices and manage ambiguity and competing objectives • Participate in production release and health monitoring activities

🎯 Requirements

• BS degree in Engineering or related technical field required • 4+ years’ experience leading development projects • 8+ years of engineering experience in a professional environment requiring extensive cross-functional collaboration • Proven ability to influence without authority and coordinate matrixed resources • Strong project management skills, including budgeting, planning, tracking, organization, attention to detail, managing competing priorities, analytical and critical thinking, and sound engineering fundamentals • Strong technical abilities, grounded in ethics and sound decision-making processes • Deep familiarity with highly technical product development teams and design transfer processes with embedded systems • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to navigate conflict constructively • Effective communication and presentation abilities, including conveying technical concepts to non-technical audiences • Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite, including Project and Visio • Travel up to 10% • Medical device experience is strongly preferred • Master’s degree, M.B.A., or P.M.P. certification is a plus • Experience with IEC standards 62304, 14971, and 62366 • Experience with Jira, Aha!, project portfolio management, and JAMA desired • Proficiency in AWS/Linux/Unix/Windows environments
