📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM customizations, including C#/.NET plugins, workflows, and configurations • Design and maintain SQL Server backend data structures supporting CRM functionality • Stay current with Dynamics 365 Wave releases and apply relevant updates • Support CI/CD pipelines and enforce secure coding practices • Collaborate with QA engineers to expand automated testing coverage for CRM integrations • Build and optimize RESTful APIs connecting CRM with VA.gov and other systems • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues while ensuring reliability, security, and compliance with VA requirements • Engage stakeholders to understand needs, communicate progress, and align CRM solutions with program objectives • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives • Work in a small technical team owning production APIs end to end, including design, development, integration, documentation, and ongoing maintenance • Write production-grade Java in core services and review code with the technical lead • Collaborate with the engineering lead and API architect on solution design

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, with a focus on full-stack development • Hands-on expertise with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM and C#/.NET development • Experience with SQL Server for backend data management • Proficiency with ReactJS and TypeScript • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and enterprise system integration • Familiarity with Azure cloud environments for hosting and deployment • Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices, including GitHub Actions, secure code scanning, and containerization • Direct VA project experience and prior involvement in federal IT projects with security and compliance requirements • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum) and experience delivering software in iterative sprints • Comfortable using AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm • Familiarity with application security principles and secure development practices • Experience operating services under a continuous Authority to Operate (cATO) or similar Federal compliance model • Experience working in a complex multi-vendor Federal program • Public Trust Clearance or higher, or ability to obtain and maintain it; required background check
