📋 Description

• Participate in evaluating, developing, maintaining, and updating the technology compliance program • Advise the technology support officer and technology managers on compliance, information security, and internal controls • Prepare technology departments for yearly FISMA audits • Assist in developing documents supporting internal FISMA reviews • Develop solutions with team members to minimize vulnerabilities • Advise the technology officer on compliance issues and recommend solutions • Provide weekly status reports to the COR documenting concerns, issues, risks, and progress • Recommend and help implement automated solutions for compliance, auditing, and vulnerability detection • Design, test, and implement audit mechanisms to detect non-compliance and support evidentiary evaluations • Ensure proper audit trails are recorded • Create audit and monitoring reports as directed • Assess and validate audit findings for systems of record against Board policies; document findings and recommendations • Crosswalk evidence and the latest Board Information Security Program against CISA and FedRAMP standards and procedures • Provide recommendations, develop action plans, and help implement capabilities to improve compliance and security practices • Document updates to compliance-related policies, processes, procedures, and standards as directed

🎯 Requirements

• US Citizenship is required • Minimum clearance required: US Citizen • At least ten years of progressively responsible experience in the information technology arena as an IT auditor, IT security analyst, IT manager, business analyst, system administrator, or a combination of these • Experience with cloud and on-premises applications desirable • Experience leading and successfully developing audit- and security-related system documentation and requirements desired • Clear, concise, and effective verbal and written communication skills • Project management skills for functioning in an unstructured matrix management environment • Experience assessing financial systems leveraging NIST 800 series or FISMA Compliance strongly desired • CISSP or CISA certification strongly desired • Ability to perform the stated physical demands, including lifting up to 20 pounds and communicating with clients and the public
