📋 Description

• Develop profitable business account relationships and increase profitability from existing and new accounts • Identify business opportunities based on knowledge of clients, markets, products, and services • Make sales presentations to existing and prospective clients • Inform clients about the benefits of the organization's products and services to meet their needs • Implement and maintain an effective referral network and call program to promote sales • Prospect new logo opportunities and drive deals from strategy through close • Manage pipeline activity with follow-up and execution discipline • Partner with internal teams to grow and retain existing portfolio customers

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience • Seven to nine or more years of relevant work experience • Ability to travel (local and regional, some national) • Prior experience in business card sales/payments • Strong sales and new business development skills, with demonstrated ability to prospect new logo opportunities, conduct curious and consultative discovery, and drive deals from strategy through close • Experience working with mid-size to large businesses, including clients with $10MM+ in annual revenue • Strong credit analysis and financial assessment skills, with understanding of basic accounting principles related to financial transactions • Proven success developing and leveraging Centers of Influence (COIs) to generate new business opportunities • Demonstrated ability to manage pipeline activity with strong follow-up and execution discipline • Solid knowledge of payment products, with general understanding of product marketing and organizational operations • Strong customer relationship management skills, including negotiation, decision-making, and creative problem resolution • Demonstrated ability to partner with internal teams to grow and retain existing portfolio customers • Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM tools to manage leads, activities, and sales performance • Ability to comply with U.S. Bank policies and procedures, including the Code of Ethics and Business Conduct and related workplace conduct and safety policies • Applicants must meet applicable employment eligibility verification requirements
