• Enter and manage installation opportunities in CRM to develop accurate monthly forecasts • Conduct site installation surveys for feasibility and execution planning • Produce scopes of work and customer-facing installation quotes in CRM • Coordinate installation schedules with dispatchers and branch personnel using Microsoft Field Service • Execute installations according to scope, safety manuals, and installation playbook • Manage installation request inbox • Manage schedule and completion dates in CRM and communicate information to customers and branch leadership • Update final pricing in CRM opportunities to support financial objectives • Maintain current organization, industry, and equipment knowledge • Communicate Hobart Service value propositions and future service products to customers • Maintain vehicles and handle installation material equipment • Follow safe driving and other applicable company policies • Perform visual safety inspections and report vehicle and tool defects • Compile and summarize data for supervisors or branch managers • Lead installation crews and resolve customer crises or conflicts • Perform other duties as assigned
• High school diploma or GED • 2 years of formal technical training • At least ten years of related experience • Equipment installation or similar experience • PC knowledge and Microsoft applications • 5+ years of installation experience in commercial equipment preferred • Mechanical or electrical experience preferred, but not required • Associate degree preferred, but not required • Experience installing and removing commercial cooking and/or refrigeration equipment highly desirable • Prior experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM • Industry certification highly desirable, position/location dependent • Ability to read and interpret service manuals, installation manuals, and mechanical diagrams • Basic math skills, including measurement conversions and percentage calculations • Working knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel • Ability to read and understand safety guidelines • Ability to multitask across site visits, quotes, and installation crews • Oral communication skills with internal and external individuals • Crisis/conflict resolution skills • Ability to self-motivate and take direction • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs., climb ladders up to 10 feet, walk 3–5 miles per day, drive 5–6 hours per day, and work in tight or confined spaces • Ability to operate motor vehicles, heavy equipment, machinery, and power tools • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time • Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and extended hours as needed
