📋 Description

• Contribute to validation test solutions for server hardware manufacturing facilities • Contribute to the end-to-end architecture, definition, development, and production deployment of software applications and infrastructure across multiple customers and manufacturing regions • Interface with internal engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams and end customers • Design and develop hardware validation test systems for high-volume manufacturing environments, including server-level (L10) and rack-level (L11/L12) systems • Create test plans, test cases, and test scripts for motherboard, memory, CPU, storage, and PCIe devices • Create, validate, release, and maintain test software and scripts that automate testing • Develop software for controlling test equipment, collecting and analyzing data, and generating test reports • Support and maintain manufacturing server and rack-level test software and infrastructure at production facilities • Implement minor system configuration changes for new product variants or revisions • Maintain comprehensive documentation of test procedures, specifications, and infrastructure • Collaborate with hardware engineers, manufacturing engineers, and quality assurance personnel to align testing requirements and quality standards

🎯 Requirements

• BS degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field is preferred; relevant experience will also be considered • Minimum of 5-8 years’ experience in a role related to manufacturing test development/sustaining with enterprise server, storage or networking products is required • Experience with Python, Java, BASH; C and C++ experience is a plus • Linux development expertise with a solid understanding of its fundamentals • Experience with CentOS and Ubuntu • Experience with hardware and API solutions for controlling, managing and stressing L10 devices • Experience with IPMI, Redfish, mprime, FIO, Linpack, ptugen, memtester, and iperf • Experience creating and configuring Virtual Machines using VMWare, including DHCP, PXE boot, and nginx • Experience with server hardware interaction, validation, and configuration • Hands-on experience with hardware-based validation and manufacturing test systems • Direct interaction with server hardware and manufacturing environments; software QA, web/application testing, or test automation frameworks alone will not be considered • Knowledge of enterprise Ethernet datacenter switching/routing L1, L2, and L3, including BGP, DHCP Relay, and ECMP • Experience with code versioning tools; Git preferred • Strong knowledge of professional software engineering practices across the complete software development life cycle • Experience working in multi-site and multi-cultural environments • Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 10% • Master’s Degree in EE/CE or Computer Science is preferred • 10+ years of experience in the electronics manufacturing industry is preferred • Experience with test architecture design and methodology is preferred • Experience with hyperscale customers and environments is preferred • Experience with 5+ of the core skills described above is preferred
