📋 Description

• Own overall system architecture across cooling and power product platforms • Define and maintain modular design strategies for reuse, scalability, maintainability, and change isolation • Architect system and model structures supporting future growth, option expansion, regional requirements, and evolving customer needs • Establish architectural frameworks that reduce lifecycle complexity and design churn • Govern product variant strategies for capacities, ratings, redundancy schemes, and regional compliance requirements • Ensure variants use structured configuration logic rather than duplication, exceptions, or manual workarounds • Establish and maintain CAD architecture standards, model structures, interface rules, templates, skeletons, references, and reusable design frameworks • Align CAD architecture with PLM structures, configuration management, and release requirements • Serve as primary technical authority in system-level and cross-functional design reviews • Resolve conflicting requirements and complex integration challenges • Drive technical decision-making, issue resolution, and action-item closure • Collaborate with ME CAD, EE CAD, controls, manufacturing, quality, service, and PLM/configuration teams • Coordinate cross-functional technical activities, priorities, and dependencies • Identify architectural risks, technical blockers, and organizational gaps • Partner with stakeholders across design, procurement, manufacturing, testing, deployment, and service

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or equivalent professional experience • 10+ years of experience designing and architecting complex electromechanical systems • Demonstrated experience owning system architecture within multi-variant product environments • Deep understanding of modular design, product platforms, configuration logic, and lifecycle scalability • Strong understanding of CAD architectures, configuration management, and PLM-driven product development • Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional technical initiatives involving multiple engineering disciplines • Proven ability to prioritize work, manage dependencies, drive execution, and achieve closure without direct supervisory authority • Ability to operate independently as a senior technical authority across organizational boundaries • Preferred: architecture ownership for CDUs, chillers, HVAC systems, liquid cooling infrastructure, or power distribution equipment • Preferred: experience supporting product families with multiple capacities, redundancy schemes, regional requirements, and customer-specific variants • Preferred: deep familiarity with CAD, PLM, configuration management, and release processes • Preferred: experience driving technical execution within matrixed engineering organizations • Preferred: experience reducing organizational load and increasing engineering velocity through improved architecture and design practices • Preferred: experience supporting both NPI and sustaining engineering environments
