📋 Description

• Lead the day-to-day operations of the Medical Admissions Consulting program • Manage admissions experts and editors, including onboarding, supervision, coaching, performance management, scheduling, workload balancing, and personnel escalations • Support hiring by defining staffing needs, screening and interviewing candidates, and onboarding new team members • Monitor advising quality through student feedback, meeting observations, and response audits • Resolve customer-service escalations and communicate with students, parents, and family members • Oversee admissions-cycle workflows, student onboarding, goal setting, progress tracking, deliverable completion, deferrals, cycle moves, re-applicant strategy, and gap-year guidance • Ensure student-facing materials are accurate and matched to application systems, eligibility, and credentials • Build and maintain admissions benchmarks using AMCAS, AACOMAS, and TMDSAS data • Maintain client records and identify students who are falling behind • Build dashboards and reporting for program health, capacity, bookings, churn, and customer-experience metrics • Provide data-driven insights for capacity planning, sales projections, and operational decisions • Manage expert/editor capacity, assignments, student lists, caseload distribution, and annual booking projections • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product, Technology, and Institutional Partnerships • Produce marketing collateral and help refine MAC offerings, resources, and content • Maintain SOPs, workflows, templates, documentation, and quality-assurance processes • Quality-check student-facing deliverables before release • Oversee enrollments, escalations, cancellations, refunds, and dispute-case documentation

🎯 Requirements

• Experience leading or administering a medical school admissions program is strongly preferred, ideally as a Director of Admissions or senior admissions leader • Deep familiarity with the medical school application process and student journey from application through admission • Knowledge of AMCAS, AACOMAS, and TMDSAS application systems, deadlines, and requirements, or ability to ramp quickly • Proven people-management experience, ideally in a service, education, or customer-facing environment • Comfort handling HR and customer-service situations directly • Proficiency with data tracking and visualization tools such as spreadsheets and dashboards • Experience collecting and organizing data from external sources • Familiarity with AI tools such as Claude and ChatGPT, and willingness to use them • Strong organizational skills and experience owning SOPs, documentation, and quality assurance • Excellent written and verbal communication with students, parents, and cross-functional partners • Experience with capacity planning, scheduling, and coordinating a team of contributors • Employment may be contingent on successful background, reference, employment history, education, and credential checks, as applicable and permitted by law
