📋 Description

• Partner with the CFO on cash forecasting, liquidity, treasury, and working-capital management • Develop forward-looking visibility into cash requirements across inventory, AR, AP, and vendor payments • Improve cash conversion cycle, inventory investment, collections, payment timing, and vendor terms • Translate operating plans and business decisions into their impact on cash and working capital • Drive improvements across Finance systems and processes, with NetSuite as the core ERP • Improve transaction accuracy, strengthen controls, eliminate recurring manual work, and leverage automation, technology, and AI • Develop scalable financial processes as the business grows • Provide senior leadership over inventory, COGS, and product costing and develop the Inventory/Cost Accounting function • Partner with Operations and Supply Chain to improve inventory accuracy, costing, fulfillment, and operational-to-financial processes • Provide expertise across 3PLs, co-manufacturing, EDI, fulfillment, trade spend, deductions, chargebacks, landed costs, and cost variances • Identify root causes of inventory and costing issues and drive sustainable improvements • Provide senior oversight of financial reporting and month-end close while developing Accounting leadership • Oversee audit, tax compliance, accounting policies, and internal controls • Improve the accuracy, speed, and predictability of financial reporting and accountability

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive Finance and Accounting experience • Strong people leadership, hiring, and team-development experience • Strong understanding of working capital, cash forecasting, liquidity, and treasury • Strong NetSuite experience with demonstrated success improving financial systems and processes • Deep inventory and cost accounting experience in an inventory-intensive business • Experience with retail fulfillment, EDI, trade spend, deductions, accruals, 3PLs, and related operational accounting • Proven ability to partner effectively with Operations and Supply Chain • Strong technical accounting foundation with experience overseeing close, audit, tax, compliance, and internal controls • CPA and/or Big 4 public accounting experience strongly preferred • Experience in CPG, food & beverage, consumer products, manufacturing, retail, or another inventory-intensive business strongly preferred
