📋 Description

• Evaluate emerging market opportunities and help Workiva expand its addressable market, initially focusing on banking regulatory reporting • Contribute financial services and banking domain knowledge to evaluate solutions and validate business cases in early market efforts • Partner with Product, Consulting, Sales, Presales, Product Marketing, and Customer Success to establish credibility and differentiate Workiva • Guide early adopter customers hands-on through data mappings and workflows required for filings • Navigate ambiguity while entering new markets and evaluating solution viability • Develop early solutions for banking regulatory reporting, including forms, data-mapping approaches, and workflow design • Solve customer onboarding and technical integration issues to assess further investment in the market opportunity • Influence early customer filing success and long-term investment and expansion strategy • Inform product and delivery roadmaps using implementation insights and domain knowledge • Serve as a trusted domain expert during presales, hands-on delivery support, and product development • Establish Workiva in new markets with autonomy, combining tactical delivery guidance with strategic evaluation

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 8 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 6 years of experience • Recognized as a subject matter expert in financial services and banking regulatory reporting • Deep domain knowledge of regulatory filing workflows and data mapping requirements • Deep understanding of end-to-end regulatory filing processes • Knowledge of core banking products and data domains relevant to regulatory reporting, including loans, deposits, securities, derivatives, capital, liquidity, and general ledger or finance data • Experience delivering customer-facing implementations, consulting engagements, pilots, or solution-validation efforts involving banking regulatory reporting technology • Experience gathering customer feedback and implementation insights, identifying recurring market needs, and translating findings into product, delivery, and go-to-market recommendations • Strong consultative communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to build credibility with senior finance, regulatory reporting, risk, data, and technology leaders • Experience operating effectively in ambiguous, fast-moving environments where requirements, product capabilities, and go-to-market approaches are still evolving • Reliable high-speed internet for remote work
