• Own US site-level operational delivery for assigned sites • Lead and coordinate local trial team activities in compliance with SOPs, procedural documents, and applicable regulations • Lead local project planning to meet recruitment targets and deliver high-quality data on time and within budget • Develop local trial-specific procedures and tools • Lead recruitment planning, contingency and risk management, and budget forecasting • Provide leadership oversight and mentoring to Local Operations Managers assigned to the trial or program • Shape US trial operational strategy and integrate site insights into global feasibility and startup planning • Serve as the primary US operational interface to global trial leadership • Monitor country-level operational KPIs and identify systemic risks and mitigation strategies • Act as escalation point for complex site contracting, operational, and recruitment issues • Represent US local operations at investigator or study coordinator meetings and governance forums • Act as subject matter expert for assigned protocols and develop therapeutic knowledge • Represent Oncology Site Enablement on cross-functional teams when applicable • Elevate US site insights to inform global decision-making and continuous improvement • Assume additional responsibilities or special initiatives, including Champion or Subject Matter Expert roles • Represent the functional area or lead country, Delivery Unit, and global process initiatives as required • Travel approximately 10%
• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Nursing, Pharmacy, or related scientific discipline, or equivalent experience • Minimum of 4 years of experience in clinical trial operations, trial management, site management, or clinical monitoring • Significant experience in complex, high-priority, or multi-site trials • Demonstrated experience in oncology trial operations is strongly preferred • In-depth understanding of the clinical development process and end-to-end trial delivery • Expertise in feasibility, startup strategy, enrollment execution, quality oversight, and closeout • Strong knowledge of GCP, regulatory requirements, inspection readiness, and compliance management • Experience supporting audits and regulatory inspections • Leadership experience coaching, mentoring, and guiding Local Operations Managers or site-facing roles • Ability to lead through influence, resolve escalations, and drive alignment across cross-functional and global trial teams • Experience with country-level or trial-level operational strategy, site selection, enrollment forecasting, and risk mitigation planning • Strong analytical skills for interpreting country- and site-level KPIs, identifying systemic risks, and implementing corrective actions • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both the local country language and English • Willingness to travel up to 10%, including overnight stays and investigator and governance meetings • Flexibility, resilience, and ability to operate in a complex, fast-changing clinical development environment
