📋 Description

• Support day-to-day operations for grant-funded initiatives enhancing quality of care and access to behavioral and primary care services • Oversee clinic operations across multiple site locations in Los Angeles and San Diego • Manage the Practice Fusion electronic health record system and monitor remote telemetric patient biometric data • Provide administrative and clinical support to advanced practice nurses, MSW students, and community health administrative staff • Direct grant activities with internal and external partners • Assist with outcome reporting systems, federal grant communications, budgets, and project duties • Co-author publications and reports related to clinic outcomes • Collect data for the federal Uniform Data System and build community relationships to expand clinic services • Ensure completion of grant-funded activities and timely quarterly and final reports • Maintain outcomes assessment and collaborate with the project evaluator on data collection and reporting • Directly supervise nurse practitioners and community health coordinators • Manage vendor contracts, payments, and contracted services • Manage daily clinic operations, patient concerns, clinic flow, scheduling, and provider calendars • Develop and enforce clinic policies, procedures, operational systems, and workflow improvements • Support billing and credentialing processes • Maintain clinical evaluation tools and compliance with licensing and scope-of-practice requirements • Communicate with staff, providers, patients, and external stakeholders • Participate in community outreach, health fairs, and public events • Perform other duties assigned by project leadership

🎯 Requirements

• Master of Science in Nursing required • Current and unencumbered Advanced Practice Registered Nurse certification and Registered Nurse licensure required • Active California furnishing number, National Provider Identifier, and DEA registration number required • Current national and state board certification as a Nurse Practitioner from an approved organization required • Minimum 5 years of experience in healthcare management and leadership required • Doctoral degree in healthcare or a related field preferred • At least 5 years of experience in higher education student success programming, grants management, or related work with Hispanic adult learners preferred • Experience coordinating or managing federal grant programs preferred • Background working with communities of color or underserved populations preferred • Evidence of prior nurse faculty experience preferred • Strong collaboration, leadership, accountability, relationship-building, and goal-setting abilities • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills • Ability to work with diverse communities and multicultural teams in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking skills • Knowledge of office policies, procedures, and systems in higher education or healthcare preferred • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Publisher, and SharePoint • Skilled in Adobe, Practice Fusion, and PeopleSoft/Student Information Systems such as SOAR • Proficient in data entry and completing online reporting forms for local, state, federal, and private grants • Willingness and ability to travel up to 75%
