• Lead development and execution of customer-focused education and practice development initiatives supporting J&J Surgical Vision’s North American business growth • Develop practice development programs that improve business performance, premium conversion, patient engagement, and practice effectiveness • Partner with commercial and corporate account teams to identify customer opportunities and deliver strategic solutions • Advise customers on practice optimization, patient flow, workflow efficiency, and customer growth strategies • Deliver in-person, virtual, and hybrid educational programs • Design and implement scalable education solutions supporting portfolio adoption and evolving customer needs • Facilitate learning experiences that improve clinical and business outcomes • Lead peer-to-peer education initiatives for ophthalmologists, optometrists, practice administrators, technicians, and clinic staff • Build relationships with key opinion leaders, faculty members, and industry experts • Develop customer success stories and best practices • Partner with Marketing, Medical Affairs, Professional Education, Sales Training, and Corporate Accounts on educational resources • Ensure content aligns with business strategy, customer needs, and compliance requirements • Support regional and national sales meetings, industry congresses, professional education events, and customer programs • Equip field teams with resources, tools, and insights • Establish metrics and feedback mechanisms to evaluate program effectiveness and business impact • Analyze data and customer insights for continuous improvement • Monitor ophthalmology and optometry trends, emerging technologies, and customer needs • Support product introductions, market development, and innovation initiatives
• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required • Minimum of 6+ years experience in ophthalmology, optometry, eye care, medical devices, or a related healthcare environment • Deep knowledge of ophthalmic diagnostics, biometry, patient flow, refractive cataract surgery, and practice operations • Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver educational programs for healthcare professionals • Strong communication, facilitation, presentation, and relationship-building skills • Proven ability to collaborate effectively across functions and influence stakeholders without direct authority • Experience working in virtual, live, and hybrid educational environments • Ability to travel approximately 60% throughout the United States and Canada • Expertise in practice management, premium conversion strategies, and customer business optimization preferred • Experience supporting commercial organizations within Medical Device, Vision Care, or Ophthalmology markets preferred • Faculty, speaker, training, or professional education experience preferred • Experience developing educational content, digital learning resources, and customer engagement programs preferred • Advanced ophthalmic certifications or additional clinical credentials preferred
