📋 Description

• Lead and develop a team of 3-5 frontend engineers through 1:1s, performance reviews, and career development planning • Build an inclusive, high-performing team culture focused on craftsmanship, autonomy, and accountability • Balance technical depth with delivery management to ensure consistent execution and outcomes • Contribute to hiring, onboarding, and mentorship • Lead the modular frontend architecture using Module Federation and Micro Frontends • Drive Dashboard’s transition from Angular to React • Steward the web-based hybrid mobile approach using CapacitorJS and shared webviews • Define and uphold frontend standards for code quality, performance, and developer experience • Oversee modernization of the toolchain, including React 19, TypeScript 5, Webpack, and MUI 7 • Partner with Architecture and Design System teams to evolve the component library • Lead debugging and incident resolution for multi-frontend environments • Partner with Product, Design, and Backend leads on platform roadmaps and priorities • Collaborate with mobile and backend platform peers on cross-platform architecture • Represent frontend platform strategy to executive stakeholders

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience • 2+ years in engineering management or tech-lead management hybrid roles • Deep expertise in React and TypeScript • Experience with modern build systems such as Webpack and Vite • Expertise in Module Federation, Micro Frontends, and Monorepos • Ability to lead modernization through framework upgrades, legacy-system isolation, and improved developer velocity • Understanding of web-based hybrid mobile approaches, including CapacitorJS, Ionic, and WebViews • Responsive design experience for tablet and mobile • Track record solving complex system-design problems across multiple teams and applications • Excellent communication with technical and non-technical audiences • Passion for mentoring engineers and building culture • Experience with Elixir/Phoenix, GraphQL, or EventBridge-based architectures is nice to have • Background in mobile web optimization, B2B SaaS, commerce, or scheduling platforms is nice to have • Familiarity with AI-assisted developer tooling such as Graphite and Cursor is nice to have • Experience managing teams modernizing large monoliths or bridging web and mobile ecosystems is nice to have
