• Own M&A strategy and execution across the acquisition pipeline • Develop and maintain corporate M&A strategy aligned with Groups’ strategic roadmap • Build and manage a proprietary pipeline of SUD, behavioral health, and adjacent targets • Lead clinical, financial, operational, regulatory, compliance, payer, and IT diligence • Build financial models and develop valuation views and deal structures with the CFO • Negotiate LOIs, definitive agreements, and ancillary documents with legal counsel • Manage sign-to-close workstreams and prepare Board and investor materials • Design and execute post-close integration plans, including Day 1 readiness, 100-day plans, and 12-month value-capture roadmaps • Lead cross-functional integration workstreams across clinical, operations, finance, HR, IT, compliance, and payer contracting • Define and track synergy targets and escalate integration risks • Partner with the People team on retention, onboarding, and cultural integration • Build and improve the institutional integration playbook • Support organic expansion through market selection, licensing, Medicaid enrollment, accreditation, site strategy, and launch execution • Evaluate strategic service-line expansions, partnerships, joint ventures, and platform investments • Partner with the CEO and CFO on three-to-five-year strategic planning and capital allocation • Serve on the Executive Leadership Team and regularly engage with the Board of Directors and investor group • Perform other duties as assigned
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field • 7+ years in corporate development, private equity, strategy consulting, or healthcare M&A • 3–5+ years in executive leadership or enterprise-level strategic roles • Extensive knowledge of mergers and acquisitions, including target identification, valuation, due diligence, negotiation, transaction structuring, and deal execution • Thorough understanding of corporate finance, financial modeling, business valuation methodologies, capital allocation, and investment analysis • Knowledge of post-merger integration principles, change management methodologies, and synergy realization strategies • Strong understanding of healthcare operations • Exceptional strategic thinking and business planning skills, with ability to translate corporate strategy into executable growth initiatives • Access to reliable internet and telephone services, specifically 50M download and 10M upload packages or higher • Strong WiFi signal from the remote work location • Must meet pre-employment requirements and applicable state and job-related background-screening guidelines • May require fingerprinting, drug testing, health screening, CPR/Basic First Aid, and license/credential verifications depending on state-specific requirements
