📋 Description

• Serve as the Government point of contact and supervise and guide personnel assigned to the effort • Manage contract and customer relationships • Develop project plans, manage cross-functional teams, and deliver Project Work Statements, schedules, and budgets • Interact with technical IT subject matter leads • Coach and motivate project team members • Identify and mitigate program and project risks • Structure and organize management of a complex environment • Direct corrective actions when performance falls below objectives • Assign responsibilities to supporting facilities, business areas, and support functions • Monitor program and project performance • Oversee and manage several concurrent projects • Support recruitment, selection, performance management, development, and retention of management and technical staff • Safeguard scope and profitability of fixed-price projects • Contribute to strategic planning, scheduling, resourcing, and technical and clinical Project Work Statements • Manage HIT professionals and help them meet deliverables • Mentor and develop employees to exceed goals • Review and verify timesheets and PTO • Support team meetings and effective communication • Provide performance management and deliver on-time performance reviews • Participate in hiring teams, review candidates, conduct interviews, and select new hires • Provide onboarding for new hires

🎯 Requirements

• 15 years of related project management or business and Federal contracting experience required • 6–9 years of experience managing multiple simultaneous projects of $1M or more • Experience managing Healthcare Information Technology projects • 2+ years of understanding in SAFe Scaled Agile Framework methodology • Experience with Power BI dashboards for project management • Must have experience managing multiple multi-million-dollar programs • Well-versed in PMBOK, project management methodologies, and tracking costs, schedules, and performance progress • PMP certification is required • Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt is a plus • Expertise with the Veteran's Health Administration is preferred • Advanced experience with MS 365, including MS Teams, Excel, Word, Project, PowerPoint, Planner, and Outlook • Ability to work productively in a totally virtual technical environment using virtual meetings, portals, and cloud storage tools • Excellent professional written and oral communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to effectively manage senior and subject matter expert-level staff • Must be located in one of the hiring states: AZ, CO, FL, GA, ID, IL, MD, MI, SC, TX, VA, WI, or WV • Must have a high-speed internet connection • Master's degree, or bachelor's degree plus 6 years of relevant experience, or associate degree plus 4 years of relevant experience, in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare IT, Business, or a related scientific/technical discipline • A bachelor's degree plus 2 years' experience may be used as an equivalent to a master's degree • An associate degree plus 4 years' experience may be used as an equivalent to a master's degree
