📋 Description

• Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar scheduling software • Sequence tasks and allocate resources, identifying dependencies, durations, and critical path elements to create realistic timelines • Monitor progress against schedules and update them based on field data, change orders, or unforeseen delays • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather schedule inputs and ensure alignment with project objectives • Identify and manage risks, including potential delays, resource shortages, or weather impacts, and develop contingency plans • Generate and distribute schedule reports to internal and external stakeholders, including progress updates, variance analysis, and mitigation strategies • Support claims analysis and recovery planning when delays occur, ensuring compliance with contractual scheduling requirements • Collaborate with procurement and staffing teams to ensure timely availability of materials, equipment, and labor • Travel for various assignments

🎯 Requirements

• Proficiency in scheduling software, including Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project • Understanding of Critical Path Method (CPM) and Earned Value Management • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications • Knowledge of construction workflows, permitting, and inspection timelines • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities • High attention to detail and accuracy • Clear communication with technical and non-technical audiences • Time management and ability to prioritize shifting deadlines • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field; associate’s degree with relevant experience may be considered • Must be able to travel for various assignments • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
