📋 Description

• Build relationships with chapter presidents, student government leaders, and class representatives across schools in the territory • Conduct cold outreach, follow up, and maintain school relationships • Book and run campus vendor fairs and lunch-and-learns, including arranging rooms, catering, and materials • Run virtual sessions with schools that are too far to reach in person • Attend district, regional, and national student organization meetings across the US • Talk with students, work leadership networking rooms, and identify ambassador candidates • Interview, onboard, and support student ambassadors in the territory • Conduct high-volume one-to-one student meetings, mostly by video, during peak season • Follow up quickly after student meetings • Become an expert on graduate borrowing, including federal versus private loans, rate factors, cosigners, in-school deferral, refinancing, and new federal loan caps • Report school tuition deadlines, competitor activity, and student feedback from the field • Manage seasonal outreach, event booking, conference, ambassador, student meeting, and follow-up activities • Travel approximately 15% of the year, particularly during fall and early winter

🎯 Requirements

• 2 to 5 years in a relationship-driven role, or an outlier track record • Experience in campus programs, student organizations, field marketing, community building, admissions, events, or a self-run zero-to-one motion • Experience with graduate programs is a bonus • Ability to have genuine conversations with students about money without turning them into a pitch • Ability to conduct high-volume outreach and persistent follow-up • Relationship-building with student organizations, chapter leadership, ambassadors, and program directors • Willingness to travel regularly within the region, including weekends when conferences require it • Comfort with seasonal workload peaks • Ability to independently manage dozens of school relationships, an event calendar, and a meeting load • Strong student engagement, scrappiness, ownership of outcomes, and systems thinking
