📋 Description

• Manage the contracting process from start to finish • Analyze and negotiate contract terms and conditions • Draft contracts as needed • Manage health care business-related agreements and contracts, including IT, services, equipment, product purchases, purchasing, capital acquisition, maintenance, clinical affiliations, patient transfer, and professional services • Manage the full contract life cycle from initial review through expiration or termination • Ensure contracts comply with Hospital policy, accreditation standards, and federal and state healthcare program regulations • Use standard Hospital templates and negotiate vendor-provided agreements • Review and negotiate contracts presented by internal clients • Meet departmental contract review turnaround goals • Communicate with internal management and staff regarding contractual arrangements, business terms, and required information • Maintain and expand knowledge of healthcare contracting issues through training • Provide counsel as a subject matter expert on contractual terms and corporate contracting policy • Initiate and manage special department projects • Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to team and organizational goals

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited College or University • 5 or more years contracting experience, including drafting contracts • Demonstrated skill set in contract negotiations • Demonstrated skill set in drafting contracts • Excellent team collaboration • Ability to perform the professional, clinical and/or technical competencies of the assigned unit or department • Less than 1 year paralegal or attorney experience is preferred • Less than 1 year experience in a healthcare environment and/or drafting healthcare-related contracts is preferred • Master's in Business Administration in business or related field is preferred
