• Advance the medical strategy within a defined territory as a field-based scientific leader • Build trusted partnerships with cardiologists, heart failure specialists, interventionalists, academic researchers, and other key opinion leaders • Conduct scientific exchange on disease states, mechanisms of action, clinical trial data, real-world evidence, and pipeline assets • Identify academic, center-of-excellence, and systems-of-care partnership opportunities • Present and interpret complex cardiovascular clinical data from preclinical research through Phase I–IV, including biomarker data • Identify unmet needs and trends in cardiovascular treatment paradigms • Support national and local medical congresses through scientific engagement and insight capture • Capture actionable medical insights from external experts • Provide clinical trial support and protocol education while collaborating with Medical Affairs and Clinical Operations • Support site feasibility, trial enrollment acceleration, and retention strategies • Facilitate investigator-initiated studies and research collaborations • Ensure scientific interactions comply with FDA, EMA, Sunshine Act, and internal SOPs • Document field activities in CRM systems and uphold ethical and scientific integrity
• MD, PharmD, PhD, or equivalent advanced scientific degree required • 3+ years of experience in cardiovascular Medical Affairs, clinical research, or a related field • Deep knowledge of cardiology, cardiovascular trials, treatment landscape, and guideline development • Prior MSL experience strongly preferred • Expertise may include heart failure, cardiomyopathies, hypertension, valvular heart diseases, ASCVD and lipid disorders, thrombosis and anticoagulation, cardiometabolic disease, or rare cardiovascular conditions • Ability to travel overnight/day 60%–70%
