📋 Description

• Serve as Kasa’s top financial leader, reporting directly to the CEO • Build a high-precision finance engine supporting growth across Kasa’s hospitality and real estate platform • Lead a global finance team of approximately 25 across the U.S., Mexico, and the Philippines • Own monthly, quarterly, and annual close across corporate entities and 85+ property-level agreements • Oversee complex accounting, including multi-contract structures, revenue recognition, intercompany allocations, USALI, GAAP, and multi-jurisdiction tax rules • Lead external audits and maintain audit readiness • Ensure accurate, insightful, and timely property-level and corporate reporting • Oversee cash reconciliations across bookings, leases, and payment methods • Manage revenue adjustments, cancellations, chargebacks, and timing differences • Maintain financial controls over bank accounts, cash, and owner-facing reporting • Audit and redesign workflows for efficiency, reliability, and scalability • Implement AI and automation for reconciliation, variance detection, and reporting • Streamline monthly close, reporting, and FP&A processes • Lead budgeting, rolling forecasts, and cash flow planning • Provide insights for CEO, Board, and leadership decisions • Partner on fundraising, debt refinancing, and strategic capital initiatives • Model fee structures, contract economics, and growth initiatives • Develop the distributed finance team and build accountability, precision, and continuous improvement • Communicate with the Board, investors, executive leadership, and property owners • Achieve first-year targets including D+10 close, over 50% reductions in manual revenue reconciliation and post-close adjustments, production AI/automation deployments, documented control frameworks, over 98% owner-reporting SLA adherence, and actionable strategic insights

🎯 Requirements

• 15+ years leading finance teams in hospitality, travel, or real estate • Expertise with USALI, management agreements, and lease accounting • Experience managing multi-entity, multi-contract operations • Deep understanding of property-level P&Ls and owner reporting • CPA preferred; Big 4 experience a plus but not required with equivalent experience • Proficient in NetSuite, Adaptive Insights, and BI tools such as Looker • Skilled at integrating systems and streamlining workflows across AP, payroll, and revenue reconciliation • Strong knowledge of high-volume transactional accounting • Experience partnering with product or engineering teams to improve systems and data flows • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to trace financial anomalies • Ability to build repeatable, controlled, and documented processes • Track record of simplifying complex financial systems • Forward-looking approach to AI and automation while maintaining strong controls • Ability to translate complex agreements and structures into clear, actionable insights • Ability to serve as primary financial voice with leadership, Board, and investors • Collaborative, credible, and calm leadership of distributed teams • Must be eligible to work in the United States
