📋 Description

• Own the full operations function across warehousing, freight, inventory, and fulfillment • Manage a national network of 3PL and warehouse partners, carrier selection, and specialized freight for heavy, oversized, and hazmat cargo • Establish company KPIs and operating cadence, including weekly, monthly, and quarterly reviews, dashboards, and accountability against the plan • Assess the current team and place the right people in the right roles • Build sales and business development infrastructure, including pipeline, forecasting, CRM, deal desk, and pricing discipline • Develop and roll out the core operational technology stack, including WMS, TMS, CRM, and ERP, plus leadership reporting • Build a scalable compliance function covering DOT hazmat and oversized-load permitting • Oversee commercial contracts and the deal-review process • Coach experienced operations leaders and manage offshore support partners • Act as a strategic partner to the CEO, Board, and fellow executives • Report to the CEO and work alongside the CFO and two business-line Presidents

🎯 Requirements

• 15 or more years in operations, supply chain, or general management, with at least 8 years in a senior executive seat (COO, VP or SVP of Operations, GM, or similar) • Proven record of building operating systems from the ground up, including KPIs, cadence, planning, and process • Real logistics or distribution experience with heavy industrial or renewable energy products, such as transformers, batteries, trackers, or modules • Hands-on experience leading WMS, TMS, ERP, and CRM projects from decision to go-live • Experience running a multi-site or contracted 3PL network at scale • Credibility to partner with a CEO, Board, and President-level peers • Hands-on style and comfort scaling a founder-led or growth-stage business • Nice to have: direct experience in solar, storage, or renewable energy distribution; NetSuite; PE-backed or founder-led company experience; familiarity with EOS or Traction
