📋 Description

• Select the best methods to store customers' products safely and efficiently • Estimate square footage and ceiling-height requirements for warehouse real estate searches • Perform industrial engineering activities including process mapping, value stream mapping, process design, space planning, CAD layout design, index and scope-creep measurement, and inventory and slotting assessments • Create receiving, picking, packing, and shipping workflows and processes • Build labor standards and align IT WMS with warehouse workflows and processes • Select appropriate material handling equipment • Price solutions in pro formas using the Kenco pricing model • Coordinate with Real Estate, IT, and HR to obtain pricing data • Apply labor rates to process hours and management, coordinator, and clerk support costs • Acquire costs for storage equipment, forklifts, IT hardware, building improvements, and related items • Adjust pricing to customer templates and obtain client profile data from Sales • Support the Sales team with process descriptions, solution innovations, and continual revisions • Present pricing proposals to internal and external customers • Visit customer sites to gather information • Assess the effectiveness of existing processes • Conduct ROI analyses • Report billable hours to appropriate accounts • Participate in operational audits • Develop advanced, full solutions including e-commerce and semi-automated solutions • Handle cost-plus, FVR, and unit-rate pricing strategies, including multi-site and scenario pricing • Train others on modeling, pricing, multiple scenarios, MHE, and WMS features

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from a four-year college or university • 5-8 years of experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience • CAD, PowerBi, SketchUp, Copilot/Claude • High proficiency in Excel • Ability to understand cost structures including Cost +, FVR (Fixed-Variable-Reimbursable), and Unit Rates • Knowledge of operations including shift structures, seasonality, direct vs. indirect ratio, staffing and training • Knowledge of basic financial concepts and company thresholds • Experience with Korber, Blue Yonder, or Veracore WMS • Experience with all types of material handling equipment • Ability to conduct ROI analysis • Ability to participate in operational audits • Ability to report billable hours to appropriate accounts in a timely manner • Ability to visit customer sites and gather information with discretion and confidentiality
