📋 Description

• Lead discovery, scoping, solution design, and estimation for integration engagements • Build trusted-advisor relationships with customers across pre-sales and delivery • Elicit underlying business problems and translate them into platform-native solutions • Facilitate customer workshops, architecture reviews, whiteboarding sessions, and executive presentations • Own Solutions Design Documents, ADRs, estimates, and definition-of-done criteria • Provide architectural guidance across the integration lifecycle from intake through go-live and handover • Design using fixed-price-engineering patterns, reusable connectors, and configuration over custom code • Enforce ORCA contract fidelity and platform conventions across implementations • Contribute findings and standards through the Architecture Review Council • Validate scope, requirements, and estimates before delivery commitments and flag misfit deals early • Mentor and coach PortX and customer development teams • Convert engagement work into reusable connectors, templates, mappings, patterns, or documented playbooks • Use AI tooling for code generation, spec-driven scaffolding, automated conformance scoring, and documentation generation • Drive continuous improvement across integration patterns, delivery methodology, estimation models, tooling, and documentation • Lead hands-on spikes, reference implementations, and rescue work when needed • Govern quality, review pull requests, and prototype without becoming the delivery bottleneck

🎯 Requirements

• Strong enterprise integration consulting and implementation experience with APIs, event-driven architecture, and integration platforms/iPaaS • Experience leading engagements, not just building inside them • Customer-facing skills including discovery, workshop facilitation, estimation, executive communication, and commercial scope management • Ability to read and review code, govern quality, review PRs, and prototype • Hands-on experience with AI-assisted engineering, including code generation, agentic tooling, and spec-to-code workflows • Working knowledge of containerization, Kubernetes/GitOps-style deployment, and AWS • Experience with OpenAPI-first design, consuming and specifying web services, Git, and standard build tooling • Strong problem-solving skills • Excellent spoken and written English communication skills • Strong organization, prioritization, and time management skills • Flexibility and responsiveness in changing priorities and tight deadlines • Confident customer-facing presence and ability to build trust and engagement • US citizenship required • No visa sponsorship available • Banking, credit union, or payments domain experience strongly preferred • Experience productizing services delivery through templates, SDKs, connector libraries, or fixed-price packaging strongly preferred • Experience standing up or operating architecture governance strongly preferred
