📋 Description

• Develop and execute internal communication strategies and initiatives • Keep employees informed about key initiatives and milestones • Support the Global Commercial Fire leadership team with communications • Manage quarterly town halls, organizational announcements, and communications • Develop internal newsletters with cross-functional teams • Lead external communications including press releases, thought leadership articles, newsletters, media relations, and stakeholder communications • Maintain relationships with media outlets, industry influencers, key stakeholders, and PR agencies • Develop and manage crisis communications for Global Commercial Fire • Plan, execute, and manage national and regional events, trade shows, conferences, and sales meetings • Manage event logistics including venues, sponsorships, meeting spaces, audiovisual and technology requirements, signage, accommodations, registration, and on-site execution • Oversee agency, vendor, and venue relationships, including contract negotiations, scope management, and timelines • Track and analyze marketing communications effectiveness using metrics and KPIs • Prepare communication and event performance reports and provide improvement insights • Proactively manage and protect the company’s brand reputation

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree • 3+ years of marketing communications and event management experience in a B2B environment • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Strong project management, budget management and organizational skills • Proven experience managing complex events in North America • Familiarity with negotiating and managing contracts, venue sourcing, vendor management • Excellent teamwork skills • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority • Ability to influence and work collaboratively with sales and product management • Proven success in managing PR agencies • Experience working with editors to write thought leadership articles • Effective organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking skills • Ability to work independently to deliver results
