📋 Description

• Help clients through their first security audit • Inspire clients toward greater levels of information security • Educate and empower small and medium service providers to implement effective controls protecting their assets • Design effective tests of controls • Interpret how risk affects varied business environments • Perform gap analysis • Provide remediation guidance and explain necessary changes • Coordinate simultaneous projects at different stages • Evaluate client information security practices • Communicate with clients and colleagues

🎯 Requirements

• Extreme level of integrity • Passion for teaching clients about compliance standards including SOC1, SOC2, PCI, HIPAA, FISMA, GLBA, HITRUST, GDPR, and ISO • Unparalleled professionalism in conduct and appearance • Skillful in designing effective tests of controls • Understanding and interpretation of risk across business environments • Gap analysis skills • Ability to combine remediation guidance with interpersonal skill • At least one certification such as CISSP, CISA, QSA, or GIAC • Energetic about coordinating simultaneous projects at differing stages • Efficient with technology • Willingness to travel nationwide, with 30%-40% travel • Virtual office experience • Current CISSP certification at a minimum for competitive candidates • A decade or more of technologist experience for competitive candidates • Exposure to information security auditing, either as an auditor or beneficiary of audits • Strong technical and interpersonal skills • Ability to evaluate client information security practices • Ability to understand client perspectives and communicate clearly and openly with clients and colleagues
