📋 Description

• Coordinate with IT Partners and client requestors to submit project requests and develop sound business cases • Liaise between business and technical resources to compile project scorecards, sizing documents, outcomes, strategic alignment, deliverables, and budget requirements for ROI calculations • Perform portfolio stakeholder analysis and gather requirements • Align appropriate technical and functional resources with project business cases • Ensure quality and integrity of data in the project portfolio management system • Use workflow automation and development tools to identify and resolve data integrity issues • Develop reports and presentation materials for Domain Council and executive leadership project prioritization meetings • Maintain the institution project portfolio planning schedule and document and communicate meetings • Serve as primary application administrator for the project portfolio management system • Elicit requirements for project submission forms and develop workflow automation rules • Produce ad-hoc and recurring portfolio reports and metrics • Develop and maintain process and application training documentation • Deliver training on portfolio processes and supporting technology • Identify and communicate opportunities to improve project portfolio management and prioritization processes • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• General knowledge of Project Management and Portfolio Management practices • Ability to follow established procedures • Ability to act as a team facilitator for projects or work groups • Tenacity to follow up on business case development and ensure requirements are met • Technical background supporting acquisition of workflow automation and integration development skills • Excellent analytical and organization skills • Ability to resolve issues and handle multiple tasks and priorities • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills • Self-motivated and result oriented; takes ownership for deliverables and deadlines • Ability to maintain a professional demeanor, pay attention to details, and set priorities in a fast-paced environment • General knowledge of MS Power BI to produce reporting dashboards • Ability to develop and present training materials and facilitate meetings • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field is required • 1 year of project support or portfolio management support experience is required • CAPM certification preferred • May require ability to maintain the security and integrity of UT San Antonio and its infrastructure per Texas EO-GA-48
