📋 Description

• Promote awareness of clinical research and assist with patient enrollment in clinical trials • Recruit clinical trial patients and meet enrollment goals • Attend health fairs and brand the company locally • Demonstrate knowledge of clinical research studies, diagnoses, and medical terminology • Understand study protocols, exclusions, and trial requirements • Establish rapport and provide courteous, efficient service to patients, subjects, healthcare professionals, sponsors, site locations, and company personnel • Conduct daily recruitment activities for assigned enrolling protocols • Make outgoing recruitment calls and answer inbound calls, with a goal of completing 80–120 calls per day • Screen subjects by identifying diagnoses and exclusion factors for correct study placement • Review patient charts in EMR platforms and prescreen patients against study eligibility criteria • Match potential patients to current or upcoming studies, or record them in the database for future studies • Schedule qualified subjects • Maintain the clinical trial database, track trial progress and timeliness, review screen sheets, triage participants, and maintain subject statuses • Adhere to IRB-approved protocols • Prioritize and manage work effectively while providing exceptional customer service

🎯 Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word) and web applications • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail • Effective communication, interpersonal, and human relations skills • Ability to work independently and collaboratively • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and adapt to changing responsibilities and workloads • Professionalism, urgency, self-motivation, and strong work ethic • High degree of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality under HIPAA guidelines • Experience working with EMRs preferred • Associate's degree and a minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting, or equivalent combination of education and experience, required • Clinical research or patient recruiting experience strongly preferred • Data entry experience preferred • Ability to work at a desk using a computer for prolonged periods • Ability to communicate via email, telephone, chat, webcam, MS Teams, or Zoom • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull objects up to 20 pounds
