📋 Description

• Perform on-site physical installation, functional testing, and quality inspection of surgical light suspensions, surgical booms, video integration systems, and ancillary equipment • Partner with sales, project engineering, project management, field service, electricians, plumbers, general contractors, and perioperative hospital staff • Confirm site readiness and pre-installation infrastructure requirements • Perform detailed product inventory of installable equipment • Communicate issues to internal project teams and follow up for resolution • Install associated cabling and video signal systems according to design specifications and quality and safety standards • Program, test, and inspect video integration sources • Perform and document functional and quality checks before project sign-off • Maintain accurate equipment installation and activity records • Complete daily update reports and administrative responsibilities • Provide project updates to relevant stakeholders • Coordinate with Quality to ensure regulatory and operational compliance • Interpret and install equipment according to complex wire diagrams and CAD drawings • Understand infrastructure, electrical, network, and basic IP requirements • Coordinate and book travel arrangements and manage daily schedules • Maintain project stakeholder relationships and provide basic operational training to customers • Manage assigned tools and equipment inventory • Respond to customer inquiries and service requests • Communicate project status and progress updates to customers • Build relationships with internal and external business partners • Communicate lessons learned and feedback to improve business processes • Adhere to customer and Stryker safety policies and PPE requirements • Maintain product, quality, and process standards through Stryker’s Learning Management System

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required • 0–2 years related technical experience (telecom, video/audio system installation, electrical/construction, medical device, hospital biomed) • 0–2 years technical experience or comparable skill set • Must maintain state issued Driver’s License and be able to safely operate a motor vehicle • Must be able to travel via commercial airline • Must be able to utilize ladders, chain hoists, material lifts, and pallet jacks • Must be able to climb ladders, work within confined spaces, and above ceiling • Must have near visual acuity (corrected), color vision, mobility, bending, standing, stooping, and finger dexterity • Must be able to communicate effectively via cell phone, text, and email • Ability to work with large pieces of construction and medical equipment • Must be able to work in a fast-paced, independent environment and exercise good judgment • Must be able to analyze and resolve non-routine testing and/or equipment issues using independent judgment • Must be able to locate, comprehend, and follow detailed installation instructions and procedures • Must be able to read, navigate, and comprehend installation and technical manuals and project documents with acute attention to detail • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite • Intermediate PC skills and appropriate application skills • Demonstrated ability to operate small hand tools, power tools, and test equipment • Bachelor’s degree (B.S. or B.A.) preferred but not required
