📋 Description

• Serve as the primary contact for associate relations and ethics concerns for H&R Block • Address associate relations concerns, primarily for field associates, by counseling associates and leaders • Mediate and resolve disputes between associates and leaders • Conduct investigations and audits according to company policies and federal, state, and local employment laws • Recommend appropriate actions and resolutions for associate relations concerns • Respond to concerns via telephone, chat, or email • Provide guidance and coaching to leaders and associates on employment and work-related concerns • Determine eligibility for associate, tax student, or candidate accommodations and engage in the ADA interactive process • Provide exceptional customer service while addressing concerns and promoting fair employment practices • Research and investigate complex associate relations concerns while managing a high case volume • Document associate relations issues in the case management system • Ensure HR activities comply with H&R Block values, regulatory guidelines, and HR policies • Partner with AR leadership, P&C Business Partners, and field leaders on escalated issues • Help resolve concerns and maintain positive interactions with associates and leaders

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources, or a related field, preferred • Minimum of five years of experience preferred in progressive HR generalist or consultant roles • Extensive knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws • At least three years of experience handling reasonable accommodations, preferred • Strong customer service, written and verbal communication, and coaching skills • Ability to work independently and effectively with others • Strong objective analytical skills and solid decision-making abilities • Conflict resolution experience • Good judgment and ability to make independent decisions • Ability to evaluate people and manage conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment • Ability to analyze concerns and recommend appropriate resolutions • Experience working with Salesforce or other case management systems, preferred
