📋 Description

• Perform on-site inspection, validation, testing and verification of electrical and mechanical equipment • Participate in factory witness testing and observe startup activities • Use technical equipment to perform testing and functional testing of equipment and electrical, mechanical and controls systems • Troubleshoot system components • Assist in developing commissioning plans • Prepare pre-functional checklists and functional performance test scripts • Review shop drawings, submittals, sequence of operations, construction-related design documents and specifications • Assist in commissioning-focused design reviews • Prepare project progress reports for internal and external stakeholders • Assist with and contribute to the final commissioning report • Manage personal hours using company tools • Complete assigned tasks and deliverables on time and on budget • Engage with vendors and project teams while taking ownership of specific testing tasks under supervision

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction or related discipline, or a minimum of two years’ experience with installation, hands-on testing, validation and troubleshooting of mechanical, controls and/or electrical infrastructure • Beginner-level knowledge of electrical, mechanical and controls system principles • Skilled in MS Office Suite: Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Teams • Exceptional organizational and file-management skills • Ability to complete assignments accurately with attention to detail • Ability to leverage AI and emerging technologies to streamline workflows and optimize operational processes • Ability to work successfully in a remote environment through effective communication, organization, self-motivation, proactiveness and resourcefulness • Ability to follow company and site safety requirements • Ability to analyze and prepare documents, reports and correspondence • Effective oral and written communication of technical and non-technical information • Ability to work independently with supervision and as a team member • Ability to work under pressure and meet close deadlines • Ability to obtain NFPA 70E and/or OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certifications as required • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously • Must be located near a major airport • Up to 75% domestic travel, potentially to any or all 50 US states • Must be able to rent vehicles and have a valid driver’s license • Must obtain a valid REAL ID or acceptable alternative, such as a passport, for business air travel effective May 7, 2025 • Ability to frequently manipulate, move or grasp small parts, devices or tools • Ability to frequently remain stationary, move through critical facilities and varying temperatures/weather, ascend/descend stairs and ladders, and access tight or confined spaces • Ability to occasionally position under or over equipment and move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
