• Own day-to-day U.S. immigration casework for current and future employees across nonimmigrant visas such as H-1B, E-3, and O-1, and green card processes including complex PERM cases • Explain case factors to staff and candidates and coordinate collection of necessary information • Work with external immigration counsel to develop case strategies and track progress • Troubleshoot obstacles so cases move forward on time • Own the employee experience throughout each immigration case and keep stakeholders informed • Partner with immigration counsel on visa initiation, renewals, and green card processes • Identify and collaborate on process improvements • Keep visa and green card documentation and policies current, accessible, and easy to understand • Ensure smooth handoff between recruitment and onboarding for employees requiring visas • Field immigration inquiries, including employee travel questions • Scope and independently run project work as the immigration function grows • Contribute to building a resilient, scalable immigration function
• At least 3 years of technical business immigration experience, especially managing H-1B and green card cases • Strong working knowledge of the PERM process, I-140 petitions, and adjustment of status applications • Strong written communication skills • Demonstrated reliability and prioritization judgment • Genuine care for Coefficient Giving's mission and ability to work consistently with its operating values • Familiarity with O-1 petitions and EB-1 green card cases preferred • Experience in a fast-moving, high-bar environment preferred • Familiarity with and interest in Coefficient Giving's work preferred • Organized and detail-oriented • Calm and adaptable in a fast-changing U.S. immigration policy environment • Ability to manage numerous open items and time-sensitive processes • Ability to consistently overlap with U.S. business hours for at least 5–6 hours per day when based outside the U.S. • Must already have work authorization; Coefficient Giving is unable to sponsor visas for this role
