📋 Description

• Maintain high quality standards with suppliers and outside processors • Report directly to the Corporate Director of Quality Management • Conduct supplier qualification activities to verify supplier capability to meet and maintain product requirements • Establish supplier quality control standards and procedures • Create and maintain supplier KPIs • Maintain a supplier audit program with risk-based scheduling and follow-up activities • Initiate and coordinate corrective actions among suppliers, the company, and customers • Implement supplier improvement programs based on demonstrated needs and customer requirements • Respond to supply chain interruptions and make corrections to meet customer demands • Oversee the product acceptance program, including participation in the PPAP process • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Familiarity with sheet metal fabrication, including press work, forming, soft and hard tool stamping, welding, etc. • 3+ years of operations experience in a manufacturing environment • At least 2 years of experience in quality control and supplier quality • Working knowledge of inspection tools and protocols • Working knowledge of Quality Management core tools • Ability to read blueprints • Familiarity with GD&T • Ability to create bubble drawings • Experience with CMM software preferred • 2-year college degree or equivalent Quality Management System auditing experience • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time • Strong computer/technical skills • Knowledge of ISO-9001, QS-9000, IATF 16949 or related standards • Excellent analytical skills • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Attention to detail and deadline orientation • Excellent organization and time management skills
