📋 Description

• Work in all aspects of the Knock Bridge Loan cycle, from loan setup and disclosures through review, approval, and closing-document preparation • Gather required documentation for processing/underwriting and obtain Initial Closing Disclosure signatures • Verify minimum submission requirements before submitting loans to processing • Issue initial disclosures, revised Loan Estimates, and ICDs in compliance with TRID and APR requirements • Request and review condominium approval documents • Calculate Knock Bridge Loan advance amounts using internal calculations and guidelines • Condition loan files based on applications and supporting documentation • Provide loan status and approval updates internally • Communicate consistently with lending partners, agents, and borrowers • Review title reports and homeowners/flood insurance to protect Knock’s lien position and security interest • Prepare, balance, and electronically send initial closing disclosures • Resolve closing issues accurately and promptly • Prepare and execute lender-fund transfers for disbursement • Coordinate with Loan Assistants, Bridge Loan Specialists, Loan Officers, and settlement partners to meet closing dates • Prepare, verify, reconcile, enter, and update loan information and closing documents • Verify closing disclosures and closings comply with federal, program, lock-confirmation, loan-approval, and program guidelines • Enter information into Meridian Link LOS and obtain missing or updated documentation • Audit signed closing documents before funding • Manage and process a daily pipeline while maintaining company turn times • Support learning, mentor others, and serve as a resource • Take on ad-hoc projects and support the team as needed

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of recent closing experience; additional relevant mortgage experience in processing and/or underwriting preferred • Experience within the last 12 months in the residential loan mortgage industry, particularly handling cash-out refinance transactions • Strong understanding of mortgage regulations from origination to post-closing • Recent experience managing and facilitating a large pipeline of 50 to 60 loans per month • Keen attention to detail • Passion for exceptional customer service • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills • Highly organized and able to manage multiple competing priorities • Strong sense of urgency and track record of thriving in a fast-paced, growth startup environment • Confidence using new technology and familiarity with lending management systems • Commitment to diverse, equitable, and inclusive practices • Proven success working 100% remotely and experience with a distributed, national team • High school diploma or equivalent • Ability to set up and constantly operate a computer • Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information via telephone or internet video applications • Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
