📋 Description

• Support quarterly Outlook forecasts and the annual budget and plan across originations, portfolio performance, and profitability • Build and maintain corporate forecasting model components, including portfolio performance analysis of payment behavior, delinquency roll rates, and charge-offs • Develop scenario and sensitivity analyses for strategic decisions and liquidity stress testing • Analyze budget and outlook variances and communicate drivers to senior leadership • Support management of asset-backed debt facilities, including covenant compliance monitoring, borrowing base reporting, and draw/repayment analyses • Prepare investor and lender communications, portfolio analyses, and investor meeting materials • Develop credit performance forecasts for funding strategy and capital planning • Research capital markets trends, funding innovations, and peer strategies • Build merchant- and product-level unit economics and net cash flow analyses for pricing, growth, and capital allocation decisions • Use SQL and large operational datasets to build data models, Tableau/Snowsight dashboards, and self-serve reporting • Support monthly financial review materials and ad-hoc executive analyses • Monitor competitor and market performance and synthesize business implications • Partner with Risk, Accounting, Sales, and Operations teams on forecasts, metrics, and reporting logic • Improve processes, automate workflows, and use modern tooling, including AI, to increase analysis speed and accuracy • Report to the Director of FP&A and partner with the VP of FP&A and VP of Capital Markets

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, or a quantitative field • 2 - 5 years of experience in data/business analytics, FP&A, strategic finance, capital markets, investment banking, or financial services analytics • Expertise in writing SQL for data analysis, metric reporting/tracking, and creating datasets • Experience working with large, complex datasets to tackle ambiguous, open-ended problems • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis • Curiosity about the “why” behind the numbers and ability to independently identify root causes and actionable insights • Ability to support multiple senior stakeholders and prioritize across competing workstreams • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to distill complex analysis into concise takeaways • Comfort working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with ambiguous problems and evolving priorities • Preferred: Experience in consumer finance, particularly subprime or non-prime lending • Preferred: Foundational knowledge of asset-backed lending, securitization, and debt capital markets • Preferred: Python experience for financial analysis and forecasting • Preferred: Experience using BI tools such as Tableau to build dashboards and track KPIs • Preferred: Experience applying AI tools to accelerate analysis and reporting
