📋 Description

• Design dashboards, compliance metrics, and regulatory reports for stakeholders, cross-functional partners, and regional compliance officers • Automate end-to-end compliance-related data solutions, governance controls, and workflows • Analyze complex datasets and create scalable, audit-ready data models for regulatory reporting and analytics • Translate regulatory and business requests into reports and automated data pipelines using Python, SQL, dbt, and Airflow • Lead cross-functional projects with analysts, engineers, and compliance teams to build and maintain data pipelines and sources • Coordinate client data quality monitoring, identify issues, flag remediations, and partner with responsible teams on resolution • Support ad hoc data requests for audits, exams, risk assessments, and business needs • Deliver clear, data-driven insights that shape compliance direction • Turn complex compliance and regulatory data into actionable insights that protect the business, satisfy regulators, and support senior leadership • Own end-to-end data management, including datasets, pipelines, dashboards, and insights for compliance and leadership teams

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in data analysis and data management within financial services or a regulated industry • Hands-on experience in compliance and regulatory reporting across AML, KYC, Sanctions, MiCA, or MiFID frameworks • Solid understanding of regulatory risk and audit-ready environments • Expert SQL skills, including complex joins, CTEs, and analytical functions • Proficiency in Python libraries such as pandas, matplotlib, and plotly • Hands-on experience with dbt or similar data-modeling tooling • Experience setting up and managing data pipelines and workflow orchestration • Proficiency with BI and data visualization tools such as QuickSight, Power BI, or Superset • Strong communication skills for explaining complex data concepts to technical and non-technical audiences • Alignment with Kraken's Tentaclements values • Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Information Systems, or a related technical field is nice to have • Solid understanding of the cryptocurrency space and financial markets is nice to have • Applicants must select a city and country from the application options • Applicants must answer whether they will need sponsorship to work in their location
