📋 Description

• Oversee all financial operations of the venture capital firm, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, capital calls, and distributions • Manage valuation processes for direct and fund-of-fund investments • Develop and maintain financial models for investment evaluation, portfolio performance assessment, and strategic decisions • Manage LP relationships, communicate fund performance, and address investor inquiries • Monitor cash flow, manage investments, and optimize financial resources • Assist with management company operations, including payroll, benefits, insurance, and line of credit • Work with the tax provider on tax returns, including K-1s • Manage the audit process and ensure timely, accurate audit reports • Monitor industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and reporting requirements • Lead and mentor finance professionals • Set performance goals, provide feedback, and support career development initiatives • Report to the Venture Capital Practice Leader • Provide consulting services to Kranz Consulting clients as an employee of the company

🎯 Requirements

• CPA required • 15+ years of experience • Experience in venture capital • Public Accounting experience, preferred • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Accounting or Finance degree required • Extremely organized • Hands-on experience working with, training, and coaching staff
