📋 Description

• Develop subject matter expertise in EMS, fire services, Medicaid financing, reimbursement programs, and public-sector consulting operations • Analyze and interpret federal and state laws, regulations, policies, and reimbursement methodologies • Monitor emerging federal and state policy developments and evaluate their impact on client programs and operations • Manage or support complex state healthcare programs, grant-funded initiatives, provider payment programs, and public-sector healthcare operations • Lead implementation, operational oversight, and continuous improvement activities for healthcare financing, reimbursement, and public-sector programs • Evaluate client programs and develop recommendations to improve operational effectiveness, financial sustainability, stakeholder engagement, and program outcomes • Monitor program performance, identify operational risks and improvement opportunities, and develop strategies to strengthen program effectiveness and sustainability • Coordinate with state agencies, healthcare providers, managed care organizations, community partners, associations, consultants, and other stakeholders • Facilitate client meetings, stakeholder discussions, workshops, and presentations • Provide technical assistance, strategic guidance, and practical recommendations • Manage day-to-day project activities, client communications, stakeholder coordination, implementation planning, program operations, and deliverable development • Delegate tasks to project team members and oversee assigned work products • Participate in business development, strategic planning, market assessment, relationship management, sales activities, conferences, and thought leadership initiatives • Lead proposal development, including writing technical sections, coordinating contributors, reviewing content, and preparing final submissions • Conduct research and analysis related to healthcare reimbursement, cost reporting, provider assessment programs, ambulance reimbursement, and public-sector initiatives • Develop and review written reports, financial analyses, data analyses, financial models, presentations, recommendations, and other client-facing materials • Manage or support statewide and multi-jurisdictional public-sector healthcare initiatives

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or 5 years’ experience required • 5+ years of relevant work experience • Experience in public-sector consulting, healthcare financing, Medicaid programs, EMS/fire services, reimbursement, state program management, grant-funded initiatives, financial analysis, healthcare transformation efforts, or related fields preferred • Experience managing client-facing projects and developing technical deliverables preferred • Experience leading or supporting state, regional, or multi-stakeholder healthcare programs preferred • Experience working directly with state agencies, provider organizations, associations, local governments, or other public-sector stakeholders preferred • Ability to understand service delivery systems administered by state and local governments and monitored by federal regulators • Ability to develop expertise in complex federal and state regulations, reimbursement methodologies, and program requirements • Ability to translate policy, regulatory, financial, and operational requirements into practical implementation strategies and program management approaches • Strong project management, organizational, and time-management skills • Ability to manage projects within established timelines and budgets while maintaining quality • Ability to manage complex state and local government programs involving multiple stakeholders, competing priorities, and evolving regulatory requirements • Attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets while producing accurate and defensible results • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis tools • Ability to identify issues, evaluate risks, and develop practical solutions • Ability to follow, critically evaluate, and improve existing processes and methodologies • Commitment to exceptional client service and relationship management • Ability to interact effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members at all organizational levels • Experience coordinating among public agencies, healthcare providers, associations, consultants, and other stakeholders • Strong facilitation and relationship-management skills • Excellent business writing skills and ability to present complex information clearly to diverse audiences • Creative problem-solving ability and strong consulting mindset • Ability to use sound judgment in completing assignments and seeking guidance when appropriate • Flexible, self-motivated professional with intellectual curiosity and initiative • Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating within a team environment • PCG does not sponsor newly hired foreign national workers for work authorization, including H-1B sponsorship
