📋 Description

• Assist team members in providing financial due diligence for clients acquiring businesses • Aid in evaluating potential transactions in the context of the client's investment thesis • Advise strategic and private equity buyers/sellers by identifying and analyzing business and financial risks or opportunities • Aggregate, manipulate, and analyze detailed financial and operational data • Identify financial and operating trends, quality of earnings, and working capital considerations • Participate in meetings and site visits with target company management • Interact with top-level management to obtain pertinent financial analysis information • Assist in building deal reports and presentations highlighting key financial and operational findings • Work on multiple projects of varying size and complexity

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance • A minimum of 0–2 years' experience required, preferably within audit, transaction advisory, or other finance-related roles • Strong current knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles • Familiarity with the M&A process and market • Strong project management skills and highly analytical • Capable of working in a demanding, deadline-driven environment independently or within a team dynamic • Ability to manage unexpected issues and/or questions professionally • Ability to adapt communication style to all levels of management, clients, and colleagues • Travel as needed to various client sites • CPA or CFA certification or working towards obtaining (preferred)
