📋 Description

• Develop and execute subcontract strategies aligned with program and organizational objectives • Manage risks and ensure compliance with procurement policies • Lead negotiations to establish subcontract agreements with favorable terms and conditions • Manage contracts throughout their lifecycle and ensure adherence to agreed terms • Monitor and evaluate subcontractor performance using defined metrics • Conduct regular reviews and audits of subcontractors • Ensure subcontractors meet delivery schedules, quality standards, and cost requirements • Collaborate with engineering, finance, and program management teams • Identify subcontracting risks and develop and implement mitigation strategies • Manage multiple Government procurements supporting multiple Government Programs • Explain, interpret, and communicate policies, procedures, and practices to internal and external customers • Provide guidance and assistance to other employees

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant subcontracts experience, or Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related subcontracts experience, or minimum of 8 years of prior related subcontracts experience in lieu of a degree • Strong knowledge of supply chain and procurement • Broad knowledge of project management • Knowledge of supply chain management, lean manufacturing, assembly and ATP processes • Experience interpreting program management, engineering and supplier demands in a continuously changing environment with minimal guidance • Working capability with MS PowerPoint, MS Project, MS Excel, and MS Word • Experience supporting supplier contracts above the TINA ($2M) with minimal guidance • Ability to follow established procedures and policies • Ability to analyze issues using supply chain/procurement principles, theories, and concepts
