📋 Description

• Schedule inpatient or outpatient procedures • Inform patients and physician offices of prep instructions and other test requirements • Correctly identify patients and match medical records • Facilitate hospital care • Accurately input surgical procedures, preference cards, and orders • Coordinate the admission process and schedule surgical procedures • Alert facilitators to current or potential problems and assist in resolution • Handle high-volume incoming and outgoing communication while providing customer service • Maintain medical records and stat reports, enter data into multiple databases, and run reports • Maintain office supplies and equipment • Assist in orienting new staff on scheduling and data collection processes • Assist with unit coverage as needed

🎯 Requirements

• Previous medical clerical experience • Understanding of medical terminology • Computer user proficiency (data entry) • Clear communication skills • Professional phone demeanor • High School Diploma or equivalent required
